We have recorded and broadcast complex shows for The Tom Joyner Show, HBO, MTV, The Arts and Entertainment Network, The Disney Channel, National Public Radio, PBS, Westwood One, The King Biscuit Flower Hour, and record companies like Warner Bros., MCA, Epic, Atlantic, Geffen, Polygram, Island, A & M, Savoy/Malaco, Reprise, Sire, and Alligator. GRAMMY® nominations have been given to 31 records that were recorded with our trucks, including Mavis Staples “Live: Hope At The Hideout”, The Indigo Girls "Back On The Bus, Ya'll", Koko Taylor "Audience with the Queen", Fred Hammond & Radical For Christ "Pages of Life Chapters 1 & 2", Buddy Guy “The Real Deal Live” , and Kurt Elling “Live In Chicago”. Metro Mobile is fully experienced in interfacing with video trucks, sound companies, and their equipment. We can feed stereo and mono mixes to the VTRs, plus SMPTE time code if required. In addition, we also connect intercom lines to the stage and the video truck. Our crew will mike and cable the stage, interface with the PA company, and can provide a mix to Telco/ISDN lines for live broadcasts. We also can run our own video camera, intercom, and telephone links. Using our custom-made transformer splitters, we can eliminate any ground loops between the trucks and the stage, the most common headache in location audio projects.
